It belongs to blogger Nikki Garnett and her husband Mal who spend most of their time at their family home on the edge of The Lake District. Lovingly refurbished in 2021 as part of a project showcasing the skills of the John Lewis & Partner Home Design Service it’s a stylish urban escape, rented only to trusted friends, family and readers of Nikki’s blog Midlifechic.

Staying at Baltic Nest is a pleasure. Equipped to high city standards you’ll find large comfortable beds with crisp white sheets and fluffy towels.
